Welcome to Crazy Town!

Hi there!  How are ya?  So, what are your questions?  You may be asking, “Why are we here?”  Well…

We’re here because there’s a blog here.  We’re here to talk to one another.  I am making this blog because I want a place for like minded people to communicate, to share parenting tips, to get a laugh, to swap recipes, to share cleaning tips, and to share frugal victories and flops.  I am also building this blog from scratch and documenting it.  If you’re wondering about how it’s done (I was), then I am recording my successes and failures for you.

About the Characters in Crazy Town

Hi, I’m Kara.  I’m a stay at home mom and a wife.  I am a veteran.  I am mostly a child of God, and all of these things color my opinions and actions. I am also the author of this blog.

Sailor (or DH or Sweetheart) is my husband who shall remain nameless.  He is a Sailor in the United States Navy.  He’s currently serving in Afghanistan.  Really, I know that everybody says this, but he really is the best husband a girl could ever have.

Sunshine is our daughter.  She’s 19 months old, and a joy to have around.  She is the source of a lot of mischief, and sunshine in our lives.  No, her name is not really sunshine.

Harley is our puppy.  He’s a chocolate lab that is about to turn 4 months old, and he is a handful! 

Jake is our 7 year old black lab.  We call him old man.  He’s a good dog who seems to be in tune with my moods.  It’s good to have Jake around.
